Contact details: legal@rcskills.com for legal matters; soporte@rcskills.com for enquiries and support; and privacidad@rcskills.com for personal data protection matters. Main domain: https://rcskills.com.
2. Purpose of the service and access
RCSkills is a technology platform providing access to courses and educational materials offered by independent instructors. Its features include a course catalogue, promotion, hosting, membership management and learning tools. The service may include free offerings and separate paid subscriptions for individual instructors.
During the beta, registration is restricted to individuals aged 18 or over who meet the eligibility and territorial availability requirements in Spain. Access to paid courses requires a valid subscription to the relevant offer. Each course listing and the pre-contract information specify the features of that offer.
3. Operation as an intermediary platform
The RCSkills commercial model consists of enabling instructors to offer their courses and providing technical management of the relationship with learners. The instructor identified in the course listing and contracting process supplies the course offering and sets its price. The platform facilitates contracting and technical access. This is without prejudice to any obligations or liabilities imposed on the parties by mandatory consumer, tax or other applicable legislation.
The applicable economic terms, identity of the relevant trader, taxes and payment methods will be displayed before any contract involving a payment obligation is concluded. Please also refer to the Student Terms and Conditions and the Cancellation and Withdrawal Policy.
4. Intellectual property and image rights
RCSkills trademarks, text, software, designs and other proprietary platform elements are protected by intellectual and industrial property laws. Third-party courses and materials belong to their authors or other lawful rights holders. Reproduction, downloading, redistribution, communication to the public or commercial exploitation without sufficient authorisation is prohibited, except as permitted by law.
Any instructor publishing a course must hold the necessary rights to music, images, recordings and other included materials, together with the appropriate permissions where identifiable people appear. Reports of suspected infringement should be sent to legal@rcskills.com, identifying the URL, affected material and grounds for the report.
5. Proper use and moderation
Using the platform for fraudulent or unlawful purposes, infringing third-party rights, obtaining unauthorised access, or publishing illegal, misleading, discriminatory, violent or manifestly unsafe material is prohibited. RCSkills may assess reports and take proportionate steps to remove or restrict content or suspend access, providing reasons and opportunities for review whenever legally required.
6. Availability and external links
RCSkills will endeavour to maintain reasonable service continuity, security and accessibility and to give notice of scheduled maintenance where possible. Interruptions may arise from technical issues or external service providers. This notice does not exclude or reduce users’ statutory rights where a contracted digital service is not supplied or does not conform to the contract.
Links to third-party services may be provided for informational or functional purposes. Those services are subject to their own terms and policies, without prejudice to any obligations that may legally apply to RCSkills.
7. Personal data and cookies
The Privacy Policy sets out the purposes, legal bases, recipients, retention arrangements and rights concerning personal data processed by RCSkills. The Cookies Policy describes technologies used to store or access information on users’ devices and the applicable consent rules.
8. Complaints and applicable law
Complaints about the platform, courses or subscriptions may be sent to soporte@rcskills.com, which will address them or refer them to the relevant instructor where appropriate. Spanish law applies, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules and the jurisdiction of courts determined by law. Consumers are not required to submit exclusively to the courts of Madrid.
9. Amendments
RCSkills may update this notice to reflect legal or functional changes. Amendments will be published in an accessible manner, and material contractual changes will be communicated to affected users when appropriate.
